Privacy notice.
This notice describes the Liberty Celebrations website and available greeting-creation features.
Information you choose to send
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use it to respond and to continue the conversation you requested.
Accounts and hosting
Clerk provides sign-in and processes the account details and session information needed to authenticate you. We use your account identifier to associate your saved greetings with you. Vercel hosts the website and may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the service.
Website measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics on public website pages to understand visits. Our integration excludes account, creator, checkout and personal greeting routes, and removes query strings and fragments from reported page URLs. We do not send your greeting text or photos as analytics events.
Personal greeting content
When uploads are available, your words and photos are stored using Amazon Web Services. Draft content is restricted to your signed-in account. Original uploads are not served to viewers; we create resized images and strip embedded image metadata such as location tags. Photos remain in private storage and the app checks access before serving them.
When personal sharing is enabled, anyone holding the private greeting link can view the published greeting without signing in. They may forward the link. Turning sharing off blocks further access through the app, but cannot recall downloaded copies. This is access-controlled hosting, not end-to-end encryption.
Payments and saved greetings
Where checkout is enabled, Stripe processes payment information. We retain order references, payment status and purchase details; we do not store your full card number or send your greeting words and photos to Stripe.
If you open a greeting while signed in, it is saved to your account as a bookmark. The bookmark includes sender and recipient display names, which remain until you remove it or delete your account, even if the sender deletes the original. A bookmark does not keep a deleted, revoked or expired greeting accessible.
Retention and removal
Draft access expires after 30 days without a text save. Published greeting access ends when its purchased hosting period ends; content is scheduled for deletion after a further 30 days. Scheduled deletion is not instantaneous. Original uploads have a short storage lifecycle. Removing a photo blocks access and requests deletion of all its stored versions. Failed cleanup is retried; contact us if removal does not complete.
You can delete a purchased greeting from its management page, or delete your account through account settings. Payment records are retained separately from greeting content. Restricted backup copies may remain until the backup retention period ends. Contact us about remaining content or privacy questions. Copies already downloaded by others cannot be recalled.
